Bo's first days

Bo spent the first three and a half days of his life at Stony Brook University Hospital, aka Daddy's work.  I enjoyed my time at the hospital.  The postpartum ward is new and comfortable and every day I felt better.  Made great strides from ten steps to the shower on day one to multiple trips pushing Bo around the floor in his bassinet on day two.  We were there long enough to get to know some of the nurses and exhaust the options on the room service menu.  Thumbs up for the carrot cake.

ok. laughed so hard at fingernail clipping and it's a bo.
mostly because i'd already thought of it's a bo and cracked myself up, so it made me happy to see i wasn't the only one out there thinking along those lines. :)

Love the fingernail photo - no one told me that cutting fingernails would be so scary! Great photos all around. Keep them coming!

I also love the one of Moose checking him out. It looks like Bo is not so sure of him yet!

Erica--
I love reading all of your entries and seeing your precious Bo! What wonderful photos you have!!! I wish we weren't so far apart-- I'd love to come for a brief time each morning to rock Bo while you snooze a little bit longer or catch a shower or run to the grocery store... Take care of yourself as your body adjusts to the new demands on it, as it heals from surgery, and restores itself to a non-pregnant Erica once more. These are precious days, for sure.
