NUMBER ONE - PRAYER. I am off on this exciting new journey, and I know the Lord will teach me many new things. He gives us just what we need, when we need it. Pray that I will be diligent in my relationship with God so that I can serve Him with my best. Pray for my students and opportunities to interact with Kenyans. Pray for God to work in Africa. God is good. Through the support of friends and family, I raised 100% of my outgoing and monthly needs in no time. Thank you. You should see my monthly pledges - I am at EXACTLY 100%! (Well, 33 cents over!) Praise God!

My monthly need is $1989. This great pie chart, available here, shows how each dollar is split in my account. Every gift you give through AIM is tax deductible and split as seen in the pie chart - toward retirement, social security, salary, etc. If you would like to give a personal gift - that is not tax deductible, but also not split into the said categories - write the check out to my name and send it to AIM. They will deposit it into my bank account for me.
